Business Class Tickets & Airfares to Macau

Macau, also sometimes spelled as Macao, is a Special Administrative Region (SAR) of the People’s Republic of China. Apart from Macau, the only other Special Administrative Region is Hong Kong. Formerly a Portuguese colony, Macau was also the only European colony in China.

Despite being a Special Administrative Region, Macau enjoys a high degree of autonomy with its own immigration policy, customs policy, monetary system, police force and legal system. The People’s Republic of China is only responsible for its foreign and defense affairs. Macau is also a member of several international organizations and takes part in events that doesn’t require national sovereignty for the members. Under the Basic Law of Macau and the Sino-Portuguese Joint Declaration, Macau will continue to enjoy its high autonomous status until 2049, for a period of at least 50 years after the transfer.

Located on China’s southeast coast, Macau is renowned world over as Asia’s gambling Mecca. The city-state has also gained wide acclaim as a free port, a tax haven, and an offshore financial center, where no foreign exchange control regimes exist. Spread in an area of only 27.5 sq km, this multicultural city has a population comprising 95 percent of Chinese, while the remaining population is Portuguese and other Westerners.

Macau is a great destination to visit. Macau International Airport keeps the city well connected with different parts of the world. Whether taking business class flights to Macau or traveling in other classes, it’s easy to reach Macau from various cities in U.S. such as New York, Newark, Las Vegas, Miami, Atlanta, Houston, Denver, Chicago, Honolulu, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Macau provides a visa free stay to U.S. nationals for a period of 30 days upon arrival. Nationals from Japan and other European countries enjoy a visa free stay in Macau for 90 days, while UK nationals are allowed six months of visa free stay.

There are many airlines providing nonstop flights services to Macau from prominent Asian cities and other parts of the world. These airlines include Air Macau, Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, Air China, Singapore Airlines, EVA Airways, Thai Airways, Japan Airlines, All Nippon Airways, China Northern Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Xiamen Airlines and others.

Macau is a fascinating destination to visit. With its greenery, clear and unpolluted air, warm sunshine, scenic hilly landscapes, lush gardens and clean streets, Macau is a favored destination for tourism as well as personal living. The city is also a confluence of Oriental and Western cultures, which are amply manifested in its places of historical interest and traditional Chinese style or European Baroque buildings. The city has a number of luxurious hotels with gambling casinos. Some of the famous attractions worth visiting in Macau include Ruins of St. Paul's, Museum of Macau, A-Ma Temple, Art Museum, Grand Prix Museum, Macau Wine Museum and many more. The city is known for its fantastic nightlife, and is a great destination for shopaholics looking for antiques, jewelry, electronics and fashionable clothes.
