All Nippon Airways has come up as one of the largest airline companies in Japan. It came into existence on 27 December; 1952.It reaches 31 international destinations and covers 41 domestic destinations. Besides the main airlines the company has several subsidiary air carriers like Air Central, ANA & JP Express, Air Nippon Network and ANA also owns the major shares in cost efficient airlines, Peach. The headquarters of the airline is Shiodome City Centre Minato, Tokyo, Japan.
It has four hubs which are in Narita International Airport, Tokyo International Airport, Kansai International Airport and Osaka International Airport. The air company covers the whole of Japan and has routes to Western Europe, United States, China, Korea and South East Asia.
In order to expand itself it has made code sharing agreements with Oriental Air Bridge, Starflyer, Ibex Airlines, Qatar Airways, Shanghai Airways, Hokkai International Airlines, Scandinavian Airlines, Virgin Atlantic, United Airlines, Turkish Airlines, A Portugal, TAM airline, Thai Airlines, Swiss Airlines Silk Airlines, Air Canada, Air Japan, Air Mauritius, Air New Zealand among others.
The airline has done and is doing praise worthy work. It won the Staff excellence service award for the Asia region in the French Air and Space Museum at the Paris Show. ANA Fare Structures and ANA Flight Amenities
ANA’s services in its classes come from its “Inspiration of Japan” concept. The business class passengers have for their convenience lot of legroom, full flat lie in beds, and an exquisite meal. The economy class passengers have fixed shell back seats and a much larger pitch space than offered by most of the other airlines. ANA has installed a new AVOD in flight entertainment system; it has iPod connectivity, shopping facilities and meal ordering services. The first class cabins are enclosed and have touch screen consoles.
ANA Baggage Policy
Passengers of international flights, in the first class can 3 pieces and each can weigh a maximum of 32kg or 70lb.Those that are traveling in the business class to international destinations can carry 2 pieces of luggage, each weighing up to 32kg or 70 lb. As far as the passengers of these flights who are traveling in the economy class are concerned, they carry 2 pieces and each bag can weigh up to 23kg or 50lb.
Passengers going to domestic destinations and are traveling in the premium class can carry up to 20 kg. The total linear should not exceed 203cm, passengers are allowed to carry handbags, baby carriers etc if they are limited within this dimension.
