The airline commenced the operating of its aircrafts on 12 January, 1994. Currently, the primary business focus of the air-carrier company is on scheduled air commuting services. Air France –KLM holds majority of its stocks. City Jet flights cover 16 destinations, both domestic and international.
It has its headquarters in Swords Business Islands, Swords, and Ireland. It has five hubs –London City Airport, Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, Antwerp Airport and Rotterdam The Hague Airport. It covers destinations like-Switzerland, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Italy, Ireland, France and Belgium. It covers the following destinations in these countries:

Velocity, the in-flight magazine of City Jet, won the Best Customer Magazine Award at the PPA’s independent publisher and conference awards. In 1995, it won the Best Airline from Dublin to London. In 2007, it won the bronze award in the European Regions Airline: Airline of the Year Award. In 2008, it got the Best Airline Award; it won the silver award in the European Regions Airline. It has 23 Avro RJ-85 and 15 Fokker 50 in its current fleet.
City Jet Fare Structure and City Jet Flight Amenities
In order to make City Jet Reservations easy, the airline has the provision of City Jet flight reservations to be made online. Some time back the airline offered its customers the option to choose from business class and economy class. In 2010, it declared that it will not have business class seats in short haul flights. This step was taken to increase the number of seats and the decision was taken, keeping in mind business travelers as well.
The eradication of the business class has not affected the provisions of food and beverages on board. Also the facilities like fast track security, priority boarding etc will still be provided to City plus customers.
City Jet Baggage Policy
If passengers book their City Jet flight tickets, in the premium economy class they become cityplus passengers. City plus members can carry two bags check-in bags; each can weigh a maximum of 23 kg. City Jet Tickets booked by city value members, allow them to have one piece of check –in bag and it cannot weigh more than 23kg. Infants can have check-in baggage that weighs up to 10 kg.
City Jet Rewards Program
Flying Blue is the frequent flyer program of the airline. Members of this program can redeem points for City Jet flight deals, free tickets and several other rewards.
