Fly with Jat Airways

JAT Airways was formerly the flagship carrier of Serbia and the largest airline in the country. The airline came into being in 1927 in the former Yugoslavia (now Serbia) and operated under the name of Aeroput. The airline’s operations were however stopped during the World War II, but again resumed on 1st April 1947 when the airline took another name ‘JAT Jugoslovenski Aerotransport’. The airline was further renamed in 2003. Once again, Etihad Airways, the national carrier of UAE, and the Government of Serbia signed an agreement under which JAT Airways was once again reorganized on 1st August 2013 and the airline has been finally rebranded as Air Serbia. With its rebranding JAT Airways has now been integrated with Air Serbia and will continue to be operated under this name. JAT Airways operated flight services out of its main hub at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport. The airline served 72 domestic and international destinations from Belgrade.
