The airline was founded in 1980 and since has been offering regional service to many travelers round the year. The airline is a subsidiary of Mesa Airline Group. During the period from 1995 to 1996, the airline was referred to as Mountain West Airlines. At present, the airline operates service as United Express, US Airways Express and as go! for the Hawaiian Airlines.
