The airline was founded in November, 2001 and starting operating its flights in 2002.The airline stopped operating its flights on1 September 2009. It ceased operating after filing for bankruptcy in august that year. The airline had its headquarters in Bratislava, Slovakia.
While the airline was functional it had operating bases in M.R.Stenaik Airport, Vienna Airport and Ruzyne Airport. SkyEurope Airlines flights flew to the following destinations:

The baggage could be carried only if it had these dimensions-55×40×20inches.Passengers could carry another hand bag onboard by paying some charge for it.
