Fly with Tropic Air
Tropic Air is the leading airline in Belize. It is also the largest privately-owned carrier in the country. The airline was established in 1979 with a single aircraft. Starting with only two employees, Tropic Air has grown over the years since it began its maiden flight 34 years ago. The airline has year after year been at the forefront in promoting the tourism industry in Belize. Currently, Tropic Air conducts 180 flights daily to various destinations. The airline is serving 15 destinations in Belize, and two destinations each in Guatemala, San Pedro Sula (Honduras) and Cancun (Mexico). Apart from this, the airline also offers charter services to many exotic and remote places across Belize. Presently, Tropic Air owns a fleet of 12 aircrafts. These include one Cessna 172, two Gippsland GA8 Airvans and nine Cessna Grand Caravans (2088).
Tropic Air mostly owns smaller aircrafts that have the capacity to carry 3 to 14 passengers only. All the aircrafts are in single class layout and operate for shorter durations.
