The airline was founded in 2005, it began operating its flights in January 2009.It stopped functioning on March 16, 2011. It has it’s headquarter in Kuwait International Airport, Al Farwaniyah Govermorate, Kuwait.
The hub of the airline was at Kuwait International Airport. While it was functional it covered several routes. Some of them were terminated before it stopped operating. Wataniya Airline flights went to the following destinations:

In order to expand its reach it had entered into code sharing agreements with Austrian Airlines. While the airline was operational, it was acclaimed for its services. The airline operated with a fleet of 7 Airbus A320-214 aircrafts.

The weight of this hand bag had to be a maximum of 10kg.The airlines had a very generous checked in luggage allowance policy.
