WestJet Airlines is a low-cost carrier based in Canada. It is a privately owned airline that was established in 1996. This is a prominent low-cost carrier in the country and currently the second largest airline after Air Canada. Its headquarters is located in Calgary. The airline is providing flights services to nearly 88 destinations in Canada, the Caribbean, the U.S., Central America, Mexico and Europe. The airline conducts its flight operations from its main hub at Calgary International Airport. WestJet Airlines also maintains other hubs as well. These include Vancouver International Airport, Winnipeg International Airport, Edmonton International Airport and Toronto Pearson International Airport. Currently, WestJet Airlines own a fleet of a total 114 aircrafts. These include 13 Boeing 737-600, 69 Boeing 737-700, 23 Boeing 737-800, 2 Boeing 757-200 and 7 Bombardier Dash 8 Q400.
