Starting November 6, 2010, Turkish Airlines route network will encapsulate Washington D.C. Presently, five flights a week from Istanbul aboard A-330 aircraft shall fly. This makes Washington D.C. the Airlines' third gateway in the United States and fourth gateway in North America. Base of operations for this new service will be Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD).
