Finnair facilitates its Passengers with pre-departure communications

Finnair will soon be sending the pre-departure emails that will contain information regarding the baggage allowance, online check-in services and lounge access.

The airline will send three emails, which will be tailored to the passenger’s travel class, loyalty tier and destination will be sent in Finnish, Swedish and English depending on the passengers language preference that will be held in the airline’s customer’s Finnair Plus Profile.

A 14 day pre-departure email will be sent to the passengers that will contain the information regarding the baggage allowance, and links enabling customers to change their seat, become the member of the scheme and likewise others. The business class passengers will be able to place alternative meals order prior to their flight.

The airline will send a second email on a day before departure, which will contain links to online check-n services, and information on priority security lanes and lounge access for premium passengers. The last email will be sent just before the round trip flight, with a link to online check-in.
