Qatar Airways will soon be launching three new routes to Norway, Bulgaria and India as the new destinations this year.
The airline will operate daily flights to Kolkata from 27th July 2011. A four-time weekly service will begin from 14th September 2011 to Sofia, and from 5th October 2011 five-time-a-week flight will operate to Oslo.
The new routes will join the queue of recently launched routes to Bucharest, Budapest, Brussels and Stuttgart, with Aleppo, Shiraz, Venice and Montreal. Regular flight service will operate over these routes in the coming months.
The addition of Kolkata route will bring the total to 95 weekly flights that the airline will operate on 12 routes in India. With Oslo now making it to the airline list, it will become the third Scandinavian destination after Stockholm and Copenhagen.
The airline is also planning to double the daily service in the Manchester route, and will soon be increasing flight frequencies on several routes such as Bangalore, Barcelona, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Dar es Salaam, Geneva, Muscat, Karachi, Paris, Seychelles, Copenhagen, Munich and Frankfurt.
