Spain based, Iberia Airline announces to increase the number of seats on its Costa Rica flights. The airline by adding 6% more seats will increase its Costa Rica capacity to 250,000 seats.
Allan Flores, Minister of Tourism said that Iberia Airline has seen a significant amount of growth in its operations, which has enabled the airline to connect popular tourism generating destinations to connect with the likes of France, Spain and Germany. He further said that Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ICT) along with the airline will also design an advertising campaign to promote Costa Rica as the next travel Mecca.
ICT said that, Iberia Airline flights fly from San Jose to Madrid daily. And in the year 2012 alone this route flew 194,000 passengers with 84% of seat occupancy rate.
