Hawaiian Airlines recently announced that it will be resuming its fights to Auckland International Airport. The airline during the 1990s operated Honolulu-Auckland flight, which however was discontinued after some time.
CEO and president Hawaiian Airlines said that Hawaii and New Zealand have shared some deep cultural connections over the years and it is a result of this same association that the airline decided to resume its service to this love Island destination.
With this flight connection, Hawaiian Airline has become the only American Airline to fly to Auckland. The airline will fly thrice weekly between Honolulu and Auckland i.e. on every Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
294 seater Airbus A330 will be operating on this route. Which is a transition from the Hawaiian’s regular Boeing 767-300, a 264 seater plan. Which means that A330 will offer passengers an additional 11000 air tickets per year.
