Middle East’s leading carrier Emirates Airline recently announced it will introduce an Airbus A380 aircraft to operate flights on Brisbane and Auckland route from Dubai starting October this year.
The airline in a statement said that it is all set to increase its capacity on Brisbane route with the launch of Airbus A380 services from October 1, 2013. The airline will also start operating flights to Auckland with the help of Airbus A380 aircraft on the same day.
The increase in capacity on Brisbane route will offer the customers enhanced flight options and opportunity to book air tickets at competitive rates.
According to Emirates Airline, the adding of an Airbus A380 aircraft to one of the two daily Brisbane services will increase the capacity with 135 additional seats on the route per flight and 1,890 every week.
The increased capacity would significantly benefit the customers planning to travel from Queensland and Auckland. The airline is presently operating twice daily service on Auckland route with the help of a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
