by Richa G 28. May 2013 09:25

Air France recently announced it has signed a new codeshare agreement with Cyprus Airways enhancing relationship between the two carriers.

The new codeshare pact between Air France and Cyprus Airways would allow customers of both the carriers to book air tickets at competitive rates and seamless connections to various destinations.

With the new codeshare arrangement, Air France would be able to put its flight code on Cyprus Airways, and Cyprus Airways would also be permitted to place its flight code on Air France on a reciprocal basis.

Air France in a statement said it will be offering Cyprus Airways flights on Athens-Rhodes, Athens-Heraklon, Larnaka-Athens and Larnaca-Paris routes. The customers booking Air France flights would also benefit from connections at Paris’ Charles de Gaulle International Airport, to and from Cyprus.

The airline also stated that Air France flights between Paris and Athens would also be sold to the customers by Cyprus Airways.
