Spirit Airlines recently announced it will be introducing new cheap flights to Dallas-Fort Worth Airport from the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport. The airline started operating its flights from the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport to Florida in 2011.
The airline in a statement said that nonstop Spirit Airlines flights would begin operations from the Unity-based airport to the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport in Texas starting from June 14, 2013. Currently headquartered in Miami, Spirit Airlines is offering services from the Unity airport to Myrtle Beach, Orlando and Fort Lauderdale.
According to Spirit Airlines, the flights to Dallas-Fort Worth would depart and return on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Gabe Monzo, Executive Director of the Westmoreland County Airport Authority, which operates the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport, said that the airport is ready to welcome Spirit Airlines and see how the Dallas flight does here.
