JetBlue Airways would soon be offering business class flights to its customers. Media reports recently said that JetBlue Airways is planning to add business class seats on some of its Airbus A321 aircrafts. The airline’s business class cabins would also include four “mini-suites”.
The reports said that Airbus has filed on behalf of JetBlue Airways with the Federal Aviation Administration seeking to add seats in business class, which would include four “mini-suites”.
According to the filing with Federal Aviation Administration, Airbus has proposed that its A321 cabin configuration being desired by JetBlue Airways would be in a two-class layout – 143 seats in coach class and 16 seats in business class.
The Airbus in its filing also said that there would be four single seats in business class cabins that are ‘mini-suites’ types.
Media reports indicated that JetBlue Airways is planning to deploy the first of its two-class A321 aircrafts on cross-country routes by early next year.
