Regional carriers have proved to be major contributors in the
development of the Caribbean region by offering reliable intra-Caribbean
service. And, InselAir is no exception. A senior Caribbean airline
executive said that InselAir had been playing a significant role in
getting in visitors from the rest of the Americas.
Media reports said that Albert Kluyver, CEO/President of the
Curacao-based InselAir, is bracing to share his insights on the success
of the airline at the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s State of the
Industry Conference to be held from October 15-18, 2013 in Martinique.
This year’s conference will focus on the theme ‘Perfecting the
Experience, Delivering Authenticity’.
Media reports quoting Kluyver said that he was looking forward to attend
the conference and is eager to share his views on how the regional
carriers had been successful and were major contributors to the
Caribbean tourism industry. He will also be dwelling at length on the
advantages that these regional carriers bring and the possible ways of
growing the value proposition for the air travelers. Kluyver said that
all efforts would be made to explore major elements for improvement that
would finally result in increasing the efficiency and volume of the
transportation sector in the Caribbean.
