Emirates the celebrated airline and the winner of several awards for
its services to the hospitality industry has a good news for Moscow. The
airline, which operates as one of the best airlines in the world,
announced its decision to add another Airbus A380 service to the Russian
capital.
The airline is all set to launch the double daily service of the super
jumbo aircraft between Dubai and Moscow from the latter half of this
year. At present, the Emirates flies A380 and Boeing 777-300ER to Moscow
every day.
As per the airline, beginning August 1, another A380 will take charge on
the route and will replace its existing counterpart B777-300ER from
service. The new flight will depart Dubai at 9:35 am and will arrive in
Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport at 2:45 pm. The return flight will depart
Moscow at 5:55 pm and arrive in Dubai at 10:55 pm each day.
The airline has configured both the double decker jets with 489 seats.
Of the 489 seats, 399 are reserved for economy class passengers. These
planes consist of 76 lie-flat seats for business class passengers while
14 private suits belong to first class passengers. The airline commenced
service to the city in 2003. It however, deployed its giant plane on
the route in December 2012, for the first time. The airline and
passengers both seem to be happy with the decision and Moscow eagerly
awaits the arrival of the second plane in the A380 series.
