on various international routes. The airline decided to launch this
service in First Class as well keeping in with the growing demand from
many customers. The airline has already been providing airweave mattress
and pillow in its business class flights on many international routes.
According to Japan Airlines, the updated mattress now includes one
surface that is firm, while the other surface that is soft. The mattress
is called “airweave DUAL MODE”, and is now being served in JAL SKY
SUITE 777 in the First Class cabins. The airline said that the premium
travelers will now be able to enjoy more comfortable sleep than before
during their flights.
Providing details about the airweave mattress, Japan Airlines said that
the density of material is gently changed into many layers thus creating
a comfortable bed functioning with firm and soft at both the surfaces
separately. The product has been designed such that the increased
density of material would also be perfectly supporting the waist and
providing ideal lying posture. The airweave mattress has been specially
designed for the First Class seats in JAL SKY SUITE 777. The airweave
pillow also provides increased resilience at both ends ensuring ideal
lying posture for the head and as well soothes head and shoulder.
