Aeroflot – Russian Airlines, popularly known as Aeroflot, is the flagship carrier of the Russian Federation. It is also the largest airline in the country. The airline operates out of its main hub at Sheremetyevo International Airport and provides flight services to several domestic destinations and international routes. Founded in 1923, Aeroflot is currently one of the oldest airlines in the world. The airline has grown over the ages and is now the 10th member of the SkyTeam alliance since April 2006. Aeroflot presently owns a fleet of 142 aircrafts, which comprises of Airbus A320s, Airbus A330s, Boeing 777s, Boeing 767s and Sukhoi SuperJet-100 airliners. A total of 116 destinations are being served by Aeroflot in 252 countries.
