Virgin America will be launching its new flight service to Chicago from both Los Angeles and San Francisco from 25th May 2011. It has also decided to withdraw the flight service from Toronto from the same destinations from 26th April 2011.
The airline has been planning to launch the new route since 2008, but due to the unavailability of gates it could not do so. A daily two flight service will be operated over the Los Angele-Chicago route and three-time daily service will be operated over the San Francisco-Chicago route.
The airline’s in-flight service includes mood-lit cabins, power outlets near every seat, seatback TV screens with the facility of on-demand films and live TV, wifi internet access and others. The passengers will also given the choice of seats from the Mani Cabin (economy), Main Cabin Select (premium economy) and the First Class seating.
