Air China has opened a passenger lounge in Beijing Capital International Airport’s Terminal 3 effective June 1, 2011. The entry for all passengers will be free, irrespective of the class that they have booked their tickets for.
The lounge is located on the second floor of the airport, and is equipped with an array of facilities for the passengers. The facilities offered include free WiFi Internet access, showers, complimentary beverages and complimentary printing and faxing services. Besides, the lounge also has three separate rooms offering beds or sofas as well as a television and a clothes rack for the guests.
The passengers will be required to make reservations at the Air China transfer counter in the airport in order to gain free entry in the lounge.
However, until June 15 the lounge will be operated for first and business class passengers on the flights from Frankfurt (CA966), Vancouver (CA992) and Frankfurt to Hangzhou via Beijing (CA932). Later on, it will be opened up to more passengers.
