Alitalia Airlines, an Italian airline company announced the plan of starting new flights from Rome to Ankara, capital of Turkey and Antalya. The airline at present flies to two Turkish cities namely Milan and Istanbul.
Rome-Ankara flights will begin is operation from March 25, 2013. Alitalia Airlines flights will fly thrice weekly to Ankara from Rome i.e. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. While the return flight, Ankara-Rome will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Rome-Antalya sector will be a seasonal sector. Flights on this sector will fly once weekly on Sundays and will be operational during the summer season from June 15 to September 15, 2013.
