Helsinki is famous for its cultural and international events. Every year the city hosts plenty of events that attract millions of tourists each year. World Village Festival (25-26 May, 2013) – Each year the Kaisaniemi Park and Railway Square is transformed into a dramatic and colorful space to celebrate the World Village Festival – one of the largest events in Finland. Finnish Fireworks Championship (1 – 30 September, 2013) – It is one of the biggest of its kind in Finland. The festival amazes visitors with its spectacular fireworks each year.
