Baggage
On South African Airlines flights to and from the United States and Canada, First and Business Class passengers have a free checked baggage allowance of two pieces (70lb maximum per piece.) Passengers with South African Airlines tickets in Economy class are permitted to check two pieces (50lb maximum per piece.) Cabin baggage must fit in the enclosed overhead storage compartments of the aircraft or under the seat in front of you. Passengers in First and Business may bring two pieces of cabin baggage on board; Economy passengers may bring one.
