Air Canada recently announced the launch of its revamped elite loyalty program for its premium customers, whether traveling in First Class or booking business class flights. This will also be applicable to customers traveling in other classes as well.
The revamped program is name d ‘Altitude’. It is being offered in addition to the airline’s existing Aeroplan scheme. The upgraded program has been designed to recognize and reward the most frequent flyers of Air Canada.
Earlier, the airline had split its Aeroplan loyalty scheme dividing it into four tiers. These four tiers include Basic, Prestige, Elite, and Super Elite. However, the three tiers – Prestige, Elite and Super Elite – are referred to as Top Tier levels.
According to Air Canada, the newly revamped loyalty program has been reorganized into 5 Altitude tiers – Altitude Prestige 25K, Altitude Elite 35K, Altitude Elite 50K, Altitude Elite 75K, and Altitude Super Elite 100K.
The airline disclosed that the Altitude Prestige 25K is for 25,000 qualifying miles or 25 segments flown; Altitude Elite 35K is for 35,000 qualifying miles or 35 segments flown; Altitude Elite 50K is for 50,000 qualifying miles or 50 segments flown; Altitude Elite 75K is for 75,000 qualifying miles or 75 segments flown; and Altitude Super Elite 100K is for 100,000 qualifying miles or 100 segments flown.
