South African Airways recently announced it has signed a partnership pact with Air Seychelles. The partnership deal is aimed at offering the customers of both the carriers to use each other’s network for seamless travel and options to book air tickets at cheap rates.

The partnership deal was recently between the two carriers during Indaba, the South African Travel Show in Durban, held from May 11-13, 2013.

Marc Cavaliere, South African Airways’ Vice President of Global Sales Development and Alliances, said that the partnership will enable the airline to offer fastest connection to the Seychelles.

Cavaliere said that the partnership is also aimed at introducing the Seychelles to the North American market.

“Come to the Big Five, then move to the Best Five” would be the slogan to promote the combination packages by the Seychelles tourism ministry.
The Seychelles tourism ministry has also decided to open an office in New York as well as in Sao Paulo to promote tourism in the famous beach destination.
