by amit.uniyal 24. February 2014 04:18

Virgin America truly knows how to please its passengers, but it’s a whole different pleasure when you are its first class passenger. With an endeavor to offer something new and innovative to its passengers every now and then, this California based airline has this time decided to offer food menu on its first class flights.

Passengers with effect from March 4, flying long-haul First Class Flights from Los Angeles and San Francisco to Washington DC, Boston, New York and Newark will be the ones to enjoy this feast. The new menu will comprise the likes of roasted tomato, marinated artichoke heart, and olive and mozzarella skewer hors d'oeuvre along with your cocktails, for starters green bean salad, healthy mixed-herb, a protein plate with mixed nuts and edamame hummus or chicken breast with apple fig compote for entree.

For desserts Virgin America has contacted Humphry Slocombe, the most popular ice cream maker in San Francisco. Humphry Slocombe is famous for its unique flavors, innovative creations and unusual combinations. First Class Passengers during their flight will get to choose from ButterByMoodlight - a smooth textured combination of blueberry glaze and brown butter; RedHotBanana - sweet cinnamon spice from mashed Red Hot candies combined with buttery banana cream or CoconutBlondAmbition creamy coconut, lemon citrus sorbet and vanilla marshmallow fluff, a signature recipe of Humphry Slocombe.

Virgin America is renowned across the globe for its award winning culinary delights and class-apart business class seats and first class cabins.
